Datawrapper is a web-based charting and mapping tool, currently used by more than 500 newsrooms around the world, e.g. World Bank, The Times, WIRED and Süddeutsche Zeitung.
How does it work? Upload or copy&paste your data straight into Datawrapper and create charts and maps in a simple 4-step process – no coding skills needed.
The output charts are interactive, responsive and embeddable into websites and stories. You can also reuse any charts and maps that others created on Datawrapper River, a chart sharing platform.
If you want to try it out, no sign-up is needed. With the free plan, you can create as many charts and maps as you like, as long as they don't exceed 10,000 views per month. Paid plans allow for custom chart styles & branding and multi-user solutions.
